My good friend Jenny passed this useful link along to me the other day and I feel like I should pass it along to you. http://foodsafety.gov/ Is a website where you can find all the recent food recalls. Don't think because you only shop organic at Whole Foods you're safe from food recalls...keep the kiddos safe!
P.S. My dad almost died in the 2006 spinach contamination. It was from a package of Organic Earthbound Farms 'pre-washed' spinach. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks, and ended up with blood poisoning, it was very serious. A 2 year old boy died from the same spinach contamination when his grandmother put some spinach in his morning smoothie....wash your greens!
